This print is one of a series of images David Scheinmann has created called Screen Icons. They explore ideas about Hollywood and Los Angeles. He took people who wonder up and down Hollywood boulevard dressed as screen icons (even having plastic surgery to look more like them) and placed them in an urban wasteland. The result is a kind of waking dream where fantasy and reality both seem at odds.
