'Between Worlds' is the first in a new series of work titled 'Albino/Freaks of Nature' by the amazing Louise McNaught. This series focuses on the elevation of animals that are essentially freaks of nature, like albinos to god-like status bringing in elements such as halos traditionally used in religious paintings. Louise had the following to say about this piece, "This piece is showing the divinity of an albino stag, by bringing in butterflies symbolising transformation, and hummingbirds that traditionally represent being able to travel between this world and the next…."
