The outer square, which is created by a flat decorative panel, features an additional square cut-out in its centre; this has been filled by an opal white dispersing plexiglass panel. This pane of plexiglass serves both to cover the circumferential LED strip and as a diffuser for the emitted light. Deno has been designed based on the LED panels known from commercial buildings – for example those commonly found in offices or conference rooms – to create even lighting for the room in question.
