E40 metal halide lamp HPI Plus 645/667 - BU/BU-P - PHILIPS The HPI-Plus lamp is a metal halide lamp with an ellipsoidal, coated external bulb for the professional lighting of high rooms such as industrial halls, shopping centres, train stations or airports. Thanks to the 60% higher light output compared to HPL bulbs and a high average lifespan of up to 20,000 hours, the lamp has very low maintenance costs. BU-P (protected) lamps can also be used in open lights. All other models (BU) should only be used in closed lights also during test´s (IEC61167, IEC632035, IEC60598). Features: - particularly long life of up to 20,000 hours - enormously high light output of up to 32,500 lm (depending on the selected design) - Quartz burner - Burning position with socket above (except design "HOR": burning point horizontal) - Colour reproduction index: 69 - fitting temperature: 250 C - bulb temperature: 260 C - cannot be dimmed Applications: - For the illumination of higher rooms like industrial halls, exhibition halls, large markets, shopping centres, building centres, churches, airports and train stations Ballast: For operation with mercury vapour (BHL) or sodium vapour bulbs (BSN) - ballasts with external igniter Safety notes: - Only for closed lights also during tests (IEC61167, IEC 62035, IEC60598), except for the "BU-P" model - If a lamp breaks it should be able to retain any hot parts securely, except for the "BU-P" model Please note: This lamp  should not be disposed of in the normal household waste.
