E40 metal halogen steam bulb HPI Plus 645/667 - BU/BU-P - PHILIPSThe HPI-Plus bulb is a metal halogen bulb with an ellipsoidal, coated external bulb for the professional lighting of high rooms, like industrial halls, shopping centres, train stations or airports. Through the 60% higher light current compared to HPL bulbs and a high average lifespan of up to 20,000 hours, very low maintenance costs are caused during operation. Light bulbs with the BU-P (protected) design may also be used in open lamps, for all other designs (design BU), usage is only permitted in closed lamps, also during the test (IEC61167, IEC632035, IEC60598).
