Quickly turning it on/off twice starts the dimming process, turning it on/off again confirms the current dimming level, which is now saved as the standard brightness. The hanging light shines at this saved brightness the next time it is turned on. If you wish to change the dimming level, the dimming process must be repeated. To reset the brightness to 100%, the dimming process must be started by quickly turning it on/off and completing it to the end.
